Additional costs may be incurred in relation to PhD associated fieldwork and/or research trips. These will be bespoke to the individual student and project. Applicants should discuss any potential additional costs with their intended supervisor prior to accepting an offer

Applicants should select the MPhil in Geography when making their application. Overseas (non-EU) applicants will need to be aware that different conditions apply depending on the topic of the research project. The Department will decide which category your application falls into. This will be either Natural Science/Physical Geography, which carries the Science fee or Social Science and Humanities/Human Geography, which carries the Arts fee.
