Funding Opportunities

Some Departmental bursaries are available to students studying for the MPhil in Public Policy each year, for example Kanders Churchill, YouGov and Stanley P Gold studenstships. Availability may vary annually. Applicants wishing to be considered for any of the Departmental funding awards should ensure that they check for early deadlines.

Students on the course undertake a compulsory work placement and applicants should be aware that neither the University nor the Department cover day-to-day subsistence costs incurred during the placement. Depending upon the location of the placement these costs may be higher than the subsistence costs which would be incurred while living in Cambridge for an equivalent time period (placements are typically four to six weeks). Applicants need to assess and allow for any additional expenses related to their placement.
