Funding Opportunities

Comprehensive information about possible sources of funding can be found on the Graduate Admissions Funding page on the Graduate Admissions website. The Faculty of Law also publishes funding information for prospective PhD students on its website.

There is an internal competition at Cambridge for AHRC awards (Home UK and EU applicants only) and ESRC awards (Home UK and EU applicants only). If you wish to apply, please complete the funding section on the Graduate Application Form.

If your proposed project will entail a substantial piece of essential primary research carried out away from Cambridge,  the University Fieldwork Fund, managed by the Faculty, may be able to make a limited contribution to any essential additional costs. Limited funding is available from the Faculty to contribute to the costs of attending conferences.
