Graduate Admissions

Course closed:

Future Infrastructure and Built Environment is no longer accepting new applications.

Apply using the Applicant Portal

The Apply Now button on the right will take you to the Applicant Portal, where you can create and submit your application and supporting documents, and request references.

An application is only complete when:

  1. you have submitted your application and supporting documents via the Applicant Portal
  2. you have paid the £60 application fee
  3. your referees have provided their references.

If you miss the deadlines specified in this section, you will not be able to submit your application.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a panel interview.

Potential applicants should also be aware of the CDT's Industry+ scheme. Successful applicants to the Industry+ scheme will spend a year employed by an industry partner prior to starting the MRes. Before submitting their application to Cambridge, students who wish to apply for the Industry+ scheme should contact the CDT for information on how to proceed. Applicants to the Industry+ scheme may have an additional interview by a representative of the industry partner.

The University's ability to offer this course in 2019/20 depends on funding decisions scheduled to be made by the EPSRC in December 2018. We will therefore not be able to make any offers of admission until at least December 2018. Applications will nevertheless be assessed as they are received, so you should not delay in submitting your application. If the course is not offered, then either your application fee will be refunded, as well as travel expenses to attend for interview, or (with your consent) your application may be transferred to another course.

Selection Process

Applications are considered on a rolling basis (as they are received), and it is possible that all places will be filled before the advertised deadline. If this occurs, the course entry in the online prospectus will be labelled as "closed".
