Graduate Admissions

Apply using the Applicant Portal

The Apply Now button on the right will take you to the Applicant Portal, where you can create and submit your application and supporting documents, and request references.

An application is only complete when:

  1. you have submitted your application and supporting documents via the Applicant Portal
  2. you have paid the £65 application fee
  3. your referees have provided their references.

If you miss the deadlines specified in this section, you will not be able to submit your application.

All documentation must be received by the specified application deadline. However, please note that offers are made on a rolling basis and once all 25 places have been filled no further applications will be considered. If the course is fully subscribed a notification of this will be displayed on the course website.

NB: Those wishing to be considered for the Graduate Funding Competition (Cambridge Trust, Gates, etc.) have to apply by an early deadline (typically end of December). For Gates applicants residing in the US, the deadline is typically the first week of October.

Selection Process

Following receipt and review of the application form, reference letters and supporting documents, potentially suitable candidates will be invited to an interview. The selection panel may ask for additional supporting documentation.

Following the interview, successful candidates will be offered a place on the course and assisted with the further process of confirming their admission. Unsuccessful candidates will be notified of the decision after the interview.

It is sometimes necessary to place candidates on a waiting list and in this instance, the MBE Office will notify the applicant of their status. Where an applicant has submitted other applications or has other priorities they may choose to withdraw from the waiting list.
