Graduate Admissions

The Cambridge MRC Doctoral Training Program (DTP) is a partnership between the University of Cambridge and the Babraham Institute, and includes as associate partners the MRC institutes and units in Cambridge, and other University Partner Institutions.

The program is offering at least fifteen fully funded PhD studentships for projects commencing in October 2020. Details of the available projects fall under the following themes:

  • Infections and Immunity
  • Molecular and Cellular Medicine
  • Neurosciences and Mental Health
  • Population and Systems Medicine

This is an annual competition. The opening and closing dates will be advertised on FindaPhD.com and on the Cambridge MRC DTP website.

In addition to excellent research facilities, students will have access to a wide variety of training and researcher development activities, many of which are offered through the Graduate School of Life Sciences and the wider University.
