Postgraduate Study

Once you have met all of your offer conditions, your admission will be confirmed by the Postgraduate Admissions Office. Remember, you can only be confirmed for one course at a time, so you will need to withdraw from all other applications and offers before we confirm you for your preferred course.

Once you receive confirmation of your admission via your self-service portal, you can then start making arrangements to come to Cambridge. Please note that you should not come to Cambridge earlier than the date given for arrival by your College. This will normally be the first day of your first term, or a few days before your course starts. If you have not had this information from your College by the time your admission is confirmed, please contact them as soon as possible. Please make sure that you have the financial means available to you to pay all your University and College Fees in full as soon as you arrive. You will need to pay both your University and College Fees to your College.

Help is offered to newly arrived University members and visitors, along with partners and families, to settle in and find out more about Cambridge. The Newcomers and Visiting Scholars (NVS) website provides an opportunity to meet people and make new friends.
