Graduate Admissions

If you have received an offer for several different courses, we can only confirm one of your offers. You will be asked to withdraw from all other offers before we can confirm you on your preferred course.

Once you have met all of your offer conditions, your admission will be confirmed and you will see this reflected in your self-service account. You must not come to Cambridge unless you have this confirmation of admission; letters from the department or College do not constitute a formal confirmation.

Once your admission has been confirmed, you can start making arrangements to come to Cambridge. However, please note that you may not come to Cambridge earlier than the date given for arrival by your College. This will normally be the first day of your first term, or a few days before your course starts. If you have not had this information from your College by the time your admission is confirmed, please contact them as soon as possible. Please make sure that you have the capital available to you to pay all your University and College Fees in full as soon as you arrive. You will need to pay both your University and College Fees to your College.

Help is offered to newly arrived University members and visitors, along with partners and families, to settle in and find out more about Cambridge. The Newcomers and Visiting Scholars (NVS) website provides an opportunity to meet people and make new friends.
